Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

A date palm has a distinctive shuttlecock crown and a heavily textured trunk, and this artificial version reproduces both at heights from 11.5 ft (3.5 m) to 19.7 ft (6 m). It is a large-interior tree - hotel lobbies, restaurants, airports and retail atriums where height is the whole point.

How tall is it, really?

Six sizes from 11.5 ft (3.5 m) to 19.7 ft (6 m). There is no small option here. If your ceiling is under 4 m, this range is the wrong one and a date palm at 2 m would look wrong anyway - the species reads as tall or not at all.

How wide does it spread?

Date palm fronds arch outward and downward, so the canopy is wide relative to the trunk. Allow generous clearance around the crown, particularly near a mezzanine edge or a lighting track, and check the swept area before committing to a position.

Where does this work best?

Volumes that are tall and otherwise empty. Airport concourses and atrium voids are the obvious cases: a 6 m tree gives an empty vertical space a sense of scale that no amount of floor-level planting can.
