Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Two heights, 8.2 ft (2.5 m) and 10 ft (3 m), of large faux olive for indoor and outdoor decorative use. These are the two sizes specifiers reach for most often - one fits under a 3 m ceiling, the other needs a void above it.

How tall is it, really?

2.5 m or 3 m. The 2.5 m version clears a 3 m ceiling comfortably, which covers most offices and lobbies; the 3 m version is for double-height space and will look compressed anywhere else.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

It is sold for decoration engineering projects, which is the trade term for exactly that. Offices, lobbies and commercial spaces are the named settings, and two clean sizes make it straightforward to schedule across a floor plan.

Does it need any maintenance?

Dusting, and that really is all. Olive foliage is small and silver, so dust shows on it faster than on a dark glossy leaf - in a busy lobby, plan on wiping it down rather than assuming nothing will ever need doing.
