Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Fifteen feet - 4.5 m - of artificial olive on a fiberglass trunk, with customised sizes quoted on request. At that height it is a courtyard, atrium or double-height entrance tree; an ordinary domestic room will not take it.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes, and that is the whole idea. The stocked size is 15 ft (4.5 m), with other heights made to order - the route to take when a tree has to reach a specific mezzanine line or sit beneath a fixed soffit.

What is the trunk made of?

Fiberglass, textured and coloured to olive bark. Above about 3 m fiberglass becomes the sensible material: it holds a heavy canopy without the weight of timber, and it does not take up water standing in a garden.

Where does this work best?

A garden courtyard, a patio with height, a commercial entrance atrium. Olive is a Mediterranean silhouette - silver leaf and open branch structure - so it wants light behind it rather than a dark wall.

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.
