Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

A willow-leaf ficus of 9.2 ft (2.8 m), with injection-moulded LDPE leaves on a floor-standing trunk. The narrow willow leaf is the distinguishing feature - it hangs and moves rather than sitting flat, which reads far more naturally in a still room than a broad glossy leaf does.

Will it look real up close?

Better than most, because injection moulding puts the midrib and vein structure into the leaf itself instead of printing it on. The giveaway at arm's length is repetition - the same three or four leaf shapes recur through the canopy.

Where does this work best?

Filling a corner in a room with a normal ceiling. At 2.8 m it is tall enough to matter and short enough for most offices and living rooms, and the drooping leaf gives it a relaxed outline that suits a lounge better than a clipped upright form.

Does it need any maintenance?

Dust the leaves occasionally with a dry cloth or a soft brush. LDPE does not yellow the way older PVC foliage does and takes cleaning without the surface going chalky, so an annual wipe is genuinely enough.
