The trunk on this weeping willow is real wood - only the foliage is artificial. Any two trees will match each other by about 80 to 90 percent, because no two real trunks are identical. Heights run 8 ft (2.5 m) to 15 ft (4.5 m), indoors or out.
What is the trunk made of?
Real wood. Not fiberglass moulded to look like wood - actual timber, carrying artificial cascading willow foliage. That is why the bark texture holds up under close inspection in a way a moulded trunk never quite does.
Will two trees look identical?
No, and this is stated up front: each tree matches the next by roughly 80 to 90 percent. If you are buying a pair to flank an entrance, expect visible differences in trunk shape. For most buyers that is the appeal, since a matched pair of identical trees is the clearest sign a scheme is artificial.
Can this go outside?
Outdoor use is a named application, alongside hotels, restaurants, gardens and event decor. Bear in mind the trunk is real timber: it will weather over time outdoors the way any exterior wood does, which is worth planning for on a permanent exterior install.
