Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

This artificial sakura tree stands 10 ft (3 m) in pink silk blossom, and it is bought overwhelmingly for weddings, photo backdrops and event staging - occasions where a real blossom season would give you about two weeks a year.

Will it look real up close?

Blossom is the easiest thing to fake convincingly, because a real cherry in flower is already a mass of soft pink rather than a set of distinct leaves. At two metres this passes without a second look. Under a camera at close range you will see the silk, which for a backdrop rarely matters.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

Pink is the hardest colour to hold in any material. Kept indoors or under cover it will stay saturated for years; parked in unfiltered direct sun it will soften gradually. If the tree lives permanently outdoors, treat some fade as expected rather than as a fault.

Where does this work best?

Ceremony aisles, entrance halls, restaurant windows and photo corners. Ten feet is the useful compromise size - large enough to be the focal point of a room, short enough to pass through most double doors and under standard commercial ceilings.
