Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

An 8.5 ft artificial pine with a 4.9 ft crown, made from moulded plastic foliage on a single upright trunk. At 2.6 m it is a full-room-height evergreen for hotel lobbies, living rooms, covered patios and wedding backdrops - one fixed size, no configuration needed.

How tall is it, really?

8.5 ft (2.6 m) to the tip, with a crown 4.9 ft (1.5 m) across. Measure your ceiling before ordering: in a standard 8 ft residential room this pine will not stand upright, which is why it tends to go into lobbies and stairwells instead.

Can this go outside?

Covered outdoor areas, yes - patios, porches and sheltered entrances are listed uses. It is not sold as a fully exposed landscape tree, so keep it out of standing weather and away from spots where wind can catch that 4.9 ft crown.

Where does this work best?

Anywhere the ceiling is generous and the light is poor. A living evergreen of this size needs daylight a lobby atrium rarely provides, so the faux pine holds its colour in spots where the real thing would thin out and drop needles within a season.
