Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

The Artificial Pieris Tree is a slim faux pieris with fine leaves and open, natural branching, standing 200 cm (6.5 ft). It is a deliberately quiet piece for window displays, cafe interiors, lobbies, showrooms and apartments - green structure without flowers or heavy canopy mass.

Where does this work best?

In restrained interiors where a big leafy tree would be too much. Pieris has small leaves and visible branch structure, so it adds depth without filling the volume, which is exactly what a retail window or a narrow lobby needs. It also photographs well, because it does not flatten into a green blob.

How tall is it, really?

200 cm, or 6.5 ft, in a single size. Tall enough to read as a tree from across a room while still standing comfortably under a normal ceiling, and the narrow habit means it claims far less floor area than an olive or a ficus of the same height would.

Will it look real up close?

Better than most, because fine-leaved species are easier to reproduce convincingly than big glossy ones. A large leaf shows moulding seams and flat, uniform colour; small leaves in quantity read as texture instead. Look closely and the repetition of identical leaves is still visible - this is a display piece, not a botanical replica.
