Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Fan leaves, not feather fronds - this artificial palm uses the broad pleated leaf of a fan palm, which fills a silhouette far faster than a date or coconut frond does. Available from 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m), with sizes made to order between 2 m and 10 m, in customisable colours.

How is a fan palm different from a date or coconut palm?

The leaf shape changes everything about how the tree occupies a space. A feather frond is long, arching and open, so you see through it. A fan leaf is a solid pleated disc, so a fan palm blocks sightlines and reads as much denser at the same height. Choose it when the tree has a screening job as well as a decorative one.

Can this go outside?

Yes - the materials are described as durable for indoor and outdoor use, with weddings, hotels and high-end properties named. A dense fan crown catches more wind than an open frond crown, so weight the base outdoors.

Can I get it in a custom colour?

The standard is a vibrant green and other colours are customisable. Height is likewise made to order between 2 m and 10 m, with the seven listed sizes covering the common range.
