Benefits & Features

Realistic detailing. Hand-set, multi-tone foliage on a natural or fibreglass-reinforced trunk, built to read as real from across a room.

Low maintenance. No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. A light dusting every few months is the entire care routine.

Materials. No soil, no pollen and no sap.

Built for commercial use. Sized and specified for lobbies, restaurants, offices and event spaces.

Shipping & Delivery

Made to order. Larger trees are built after your order is confirmed, so allow the lead time set out in our Shipping policy rather than next-day dispatch.

Freight for oversized pieces. Tall trees and multi-unit orders ship by freight and we will arrange a delivery window with you.

Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Returns & Warranty

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Sizing Help

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

For double-height lobbies and atriums, go taller than instinct suggests, because undersized trees disappear in large volumes. Unsure? Send us your dimensions before ordering and we will tell you honestly which size fits.

Product Description

A faux palm tree built with durable PE foliage across 12 realistic leaves, available as a single tree or as a discounted pair.

A palm earns its place in a room by looking loose and a little wild, and the appeal of an artificial one is getting that texture without the mess a live palm eventually makes — dropped fronds, spider mites, the crisping tips a dry Canadian winter causes in almost every indoor palm species.

The foliage is PE (polyethylene), described as free of high-concern chemicals, arranged across 12 leaves per tree.

Artificial palm tree, or a real one?

This tree Live indoor palm
Light required None Bright indirect light for most of the day
Common failure mode None Frond-tip browning and spider mites once winter heating dries the air
Leaves 12, fixed Constant frond drop and new growth
Maintenance None beyond occasional dusting Watering, misting, repotting, pest checks

The honest argument for a live plant is that you can see exactly what you're bringing home before it arrives. A faux palm trades that for a fixed price, no upkeep, and foliage that never browns.

What arrives in the box, and what do I have to do to it?

Every palm on this site ships compressed, with fronds folded in against the trunk to survive transit, and this one will look thinner out of the box than in its photographs until the fronds are separated and opened out by hand. That takes longer on a palm than on a broadleaf tree, because each frond is a spine of narrow leaflets that need individual attention rather than a handful of large leaves.

Inspect the pot and the trunk before you accept delivery, and photograph anything damaged before you unpack further — shipping is where a piece like this is most likely to take a knock, whether a cracked base, a bent trunk, or a crushed pot.

Is this palm right for your space?

  • Living rooms and corners wanting movement and texture without the upkeep of a live palm.
  • Indoor placement. For spots with direct sun, choose a UV-rated model instead.
  • Buyers furnishing in pairs. The two-tree bundle costs less than buying two individually.

Common questions

What is the foliage made from?

PE (polyethylene), described as free of high-concern chemicals, arranged across 12 realistic faux palm leaves per tree.

Is this palm suited to outdoor spaces?

It's intended for indoor use. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun and don't plan on moving it outdoors for the season.

Should I buy the single tree or the pair?

The pair works out cheaper per tree than buying one at a time — a real saving if you have room for two.

Why Choose This Piece

What separates it from a generic artificial plant

Hand-set foliage

Leaves are layered by hand in varying tones, because real foliage is never one flat shade of green.

Real trunk construction

Natural wood or reinforced fibreglass trunks, depending on the tree.

Built for real conditions

UV-stabilised options are intended for sun, chlorine and salt air, conditions that are hard on living planting. UV treatment slows fading; it does not stop it.

Sized for commercial spaces

Sized and specified for hotel lobbies, restaurants, offices and event spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How realistic does this actually look?

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.

What size should I order for my space?

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm. For a standard room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well. For lobbies and atriums, go taller than instinct suggests, because undersized trees vanish in large volumes. Send us your dimensions and we will advise before you order.

Can I use this outdoors?

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.

Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. Dust settles on foliage the way it settles on a bookshelf, so a light dusting or gentle wipe every few months keeps it sharp. That is the entire care routine.

Why does it look flat when it arrives?

Foliage is compressed for transit, which is expected, not damage. Starting from the lowest branches and working up, bend each branch outward and fan the foliage until the canopy fills evenly. Large trees take ten to fifteen minutes and it is worth the time.

Do you offer trade or bulk pricing?

Yes. Volume pricing is available for designers, hospitality groups and commercial fit-outs, along with custom heights and finish matching across multiple sites. See our Wholesale & Trade page to start an enquiry.
