Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

This made-to-order artificial ginkgo carries silk fan-shaped leaves that shade from red into yellow, mounted on a natural wood trunk. Four standard heights run from 10 ft (3 m) to 16.5 ft (5 m), which suits stairwell voids, hotel lobbies and double-height restaurant rooms.

What is the trunk made of?

Natural wood, with fiberglass offered as an alternative on custom orders. Real wood gives you genuine bark grain and irregularity that no moulded trunk quite matches, at the cost of weight.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

Yes, with one caveat worth planning around. Each tree weighs roughly 90 kg (198 lb), so the base needs a solid floor and, in a public space, a fixing or a weighted planter rather than a free stand.

How long will it last?

Rated for a service life of up to 10 years in interior use. That figure assumes indoor placement out of direct sun; strong daylight through south-facing glass will shorten it.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes. Custom builds start at a minimum of 1 m (3.3 ft) and are sized to order between that and the largest standard height.
