Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

This is the project-scale ginkgo in the range: a fiberglass-trunk tree with mixed silk and plastic foliage, stocked in five heights from 10 ft (3 m) to 16.5 ft (5 m) and made to order up to 32.8 ft (10 m). It is specified mainly for hotels, restaurants and large residential atria.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

Yes, and it is built with that in mind. The fiberglass trunk takes a fixing, the branch sections come apart for transport through a finished building, and heights above 5 m are quoted per project.

Can this go outside?

Yes. Both the foliage and the trunk finish are UV-resistant and water-resistant, so courtyards, terraces and covered forecourts are all fair game. Wind loading, not water, is the thing to design for at these heights.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Anything from 3 m to 10 m. Above the five stock sizes each tree is built to the drawing, so give the fabricator your finished ceiling height rather than the slab-to-slab dimension.

Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding or pruning. Outdoors, expect to rinse dust off the canopy occasionally; indoors, a soft dusting once or twice a year is enough.
