Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Natural-touch fronds are what separate this artificial date palm from the harder plastic versions in the range - the leaves use a soft-finish surface rather than rigid moulded plastic. Built in fiberglass and plastic, from 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m), with custom heights and colours available.

Will it look real up close?

Closer than the standard build, because the leaf finish is where most artificial palms fail first - a rigid, shiny frond looks wrong at any distance under directional light. This one has a natural-touch surface. The trunk still identifies itself under close inspection, and that is worth knowing before you put it at a reception desk.

Can I get it in a custom height or colour?

Both are made to order. Seven stock heights cover 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m), and beyond that the height and the finish colour are build options - useful if a row of palms has to step in height or match a scheme.

Can this go outside?

Yes. It is UV resistant and specified for indoor and outdoor use, with gardens and balconies named. The base is described as sturdy, though an exposed balcony position on a taller size should still be fixed or weighted.
