Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Date palms are defined by the diamond-cut trunk and the long arching frond, and this artificial date palm reproduces both in fiberglass with PE foliage. Listed heights run 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m), and custom builds are quoted anywhere from 10 ft up to 66 ft (20 m).

How tall can it be made?

Sixty-six feet, or twenty metres, at the top of the custom range. That is a genuine landscape-scale figure, which is why this model is used for theme parks and resort entrances rather than interiors. Seven stock heights cover 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m) without a custom quote.

Can this go outside?

Outdoor use is the primary specification here. PE foliage on a fiberglass trunk is the standard construction for exterior palms because neither material takes up water. At the taller sizes, the base must be fixed or ballasted for wind.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

It is designed for commercial landscape work - hotel lobbies, theme parks, resort driveways and large gardens. This product has not been fire-tested to a named standard, so if your project requires a rated classification, confirm it before specifying.
