Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Silk fronds on a fiberglass trunk make this artificial coconut palm the anti-UV option in the palm group, offered in seven heights from 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m). Rated for a service life of 8 to 10 years, which is at the long end for an exterior faux tree.

How long will it last?

8 to 10 years is the stated figure. That is a realistic number for a fiberglass-and-silk build kept out of constant standing water, and it is roughly double what an untreated plastic palm manages outdoors.

Can this go outside?

Yes, and the anti-UV treatment is why it is sold that way. Poolsides, patios, festival builds and wedding venues are the usual placements.

How tall is it, really?

Seven sizes: 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5, 5 and 5.5 m. The mid sizes around 3.5 m are the most commonly specified for outdoor dining areas.

What is the trunk made of?

Fiberglass, which resists rot and does not swell or split in wet weather the way a timber trunk eventually will. It is also lighter to lift into position at the taller sizes.
