Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Everything structural on this artificial coconut palm is fiberglass, which is what allows it to be built out to 18 ft (5.5 m) without a timber core. Listed sizes start at 8 ft (2.5 m). Gardens, pool decks, hotel forecourts and restaurant terraces are its usual settings.

What is it made of?

High-quality fiberglass for the trunk and structure, with detailed green foliage forming the crown. Fiberglass is the standard choice for exterior palms because it takes up no water, so nothing inside the trunk can rot, swell or split through a freeze-thaw cycle.

Can this go outside?

Yes - outdoor gardens are a named use, alongside indoor placement. The build is described as robust against the elements. On the taller sizes the crown catches wind, so fix or ballast the base rather than free-standing it in an exposed spot.

Does it need any maintenance?

Effectively none. No watering, no frond drop to clear off a pool surround, and no risk of a real coconut palm's fronds browning in a cold snap. An outdoor tree benefits from an occasional hose-down to clear dust and pollen from the fronds.
