Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Nine feet of unlit blue spruce, built from 3,268 mixed PE and PVC branch tips on pre-hinged branches and a foldable metal base. Unlit is a deliberate choice here: it leaves the lighting scheme entirely to you, which is what most designers and venues actually want.

How dense is the foliage?

3,268 branch tips, which is a genuine density figure rather than a marketing adjective. In practice that means the interior of the tree is filled enough that you cannot see the pole through it once the branches are opened.

How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?

The branches are pre-hinged, so they drop into position as you lift each section rather than needing to be inserted one at a time. Budget half an hour for a two-person team to open and fluff the tips.

Does it come with lights fitted?

No. This is the unlit version, which is why it suits venues running their own colour scheme or dressing the tree to a brand palette each year.

Can this go outside?

Yes, it is rated for indoor or outdoor display. The foldable base is stable on a flat floor but wants ballast outdoors, because a 9 ft spruce presents a lot of surface to the wind.
