Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Seven heights of artificial coconut palm, between 8 ft (2.5 m) and 18 ft (5.5 m), built on a fiberglass trunk. It is rated for indoor and outdoor use, which puts it in resort landscaping, pool decks, event builds and tropical-themed interiors.

How tall is it, really?

Seven stocked heights: 2.5 m, 3 m, 3.5 m, 4 m, 4.5 m, 5 m and 5.5 m. A palm carries all its mass at the crown, so a 5.5 m specimen reads considerably taller from below than a 5.5 m broadleaf tree does.

Can this go outside?

Yes, and outdoors is where the fiberglass trunk earns its keep. Poolside and resort landscaping are the usual settings, since a living coconut palm needs a climate that almost nowhere in Canada can offer.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

The size range says so. Below 3 m it behaves as interior planting; from 4 m upward it is landscape equipment and should be specified with an anchoring method and an access plan, like any other tall installed element.
