Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

A waterproof artificial magnolia standing 9 ft (2.75 m), built on a fiberglass and plastic trunk over steel tubing, on a 19.7 by 19.7 in (50 by 50 cm) steel baseboard. Custom heights run from 8 ft to 18 ft, which takes it from a shopfront into a full atrium installation.

What kind of pot does it come in?

It comes on a flat steel baseboard, 50 cm square, rather than a decorative pot. That is deliberate - the plate slides under a specified planter or a built-in bed so the tree is anchored by weight, not by a container that has to be filled.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes, anywhere from 8 ft to 18 ft. The steel tube spine is what makes the tall end possible; above about 4 m a trunk without an internal steel core will not hold a magnolia canopy straight over time.

Can this go outside?

The waterproof construction is rated for covered outdoor use - patios, sheltered forecourts, storefront thresholds. Take the overhead cover seriously at the taller custom sizes, where wind on the canopy matters more than water on the leaf.
