Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

The Signature 11.8FT Artificial Banana Tree is a full-height faux banana at 360 cm, with layered banana leaves in durable plastic on a single upright stem. It is an indoor statement plant for lobbies, offices, covered patios, retail displays and modern interiors with height to spare.

How tall is it, really?

360 cm, which is 11.8 ft. That is close to four metres and well beyond a standard ceiling, so it wants an atrium, a mezzanine void or a double-height room. If your ceiling is under 3.5 m, a shorter banana is the correct choice and this one is not.

Where does this work best?

In a tall, narrow volume. Banana grows as a vertical stem with leaves stacked up it, so unlike a spreading tree it fills height without demanding floor area - which makes it one of very few plants that genuinely suits a stairwell or a lift lobby.

Does it need any maintenance?

Wipe the leaves, and expect to do it more often than on a fine-leaved tree. A banana leaf is a large flat surface and it shows dust quickly. They wipe clean easily, which is the trade-off, but at 3.6 m you will need a ladder or a long-handled cloth to reach the top of it.
