Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

A large-scale artificial red maple with fabric foliage on an FRP trunk, stocked at 7.2 ft (2.2 m) and 8.2 ft (2.5 m). Red maple is bought for colour rather than green - it puts autumn tone into hotel lobbies, malls, showrooms and photo backdrops that are otherwise all glass and stone.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

Fabric leaf holds red better than most materials, but no dye is permanent under direct unfiltered sun. Sited indoors or under cover, which is what this tree is specified for, the colour stays where you put it - a fully exposed south-facing position is the one place we would not send it.

What is the trunk made of?

Fibre-reinforced plastic, moulded with bark texture. FRP takes a convincing surface finish and carries the weight of a wide canopy without a visible steel pole, which matters on a tree whose whole appeal is being looked at.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

It is designed around it. Shopping malls, hotel lobbies, offices and showrooms are the stated settings, and both heights are floor-standing so they drop straight into a specified planter without a base cover.
