Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Four combinations are offered here: 4.92 ft (1.5 m) or 9.84 ft (3 m), in pink or white blossom. White sakura is the harder one to source and the one that photographs better against a dark interior, which is why restaurants and hotels tend to ask for it.

Where does this work best?

Lobbies, dining rooms and photo backdrops - it suits all three. The 1.5 m size sits on a plinth or a bar top; the 3 m size stands on the floor and becomes the thing people photograph themselves in front of.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

White blossom shows age differently from pink. It does not fade so much as yellow, particularly in strong daylight, so an interior position away from a window keeps it crisp far longer than a conservatory will.

Does it need any maintenance?

Dusting, and nothing more. Blossom collects dust faster than leaf foliage because the petals face upward - in a dining room that is worth a light going-over every few weeks rather than twice a year.
