Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

The welcoming pine is a Chinese-style artificial pine with branches trained horizontally to one side, available at 10 ft (3 m). That asymmetric, outstretched shape is the whole idea: it reads as a gesture toward the door, which is why it goes into lobbies and entrances.

Wider on one side than the other by design. Welcoming pine form pushes the main branch out laterally, so allow clearance on the extended side and treat the tree as directional when you position it.

Where does this work best?

Will it look real up close?

The trunk and needle detail hold up at normal passing distance. A trained pine is a sculpted shape rather than a naturalistic one, so it is judged on form rather than on whether it fools anyone at arm's length.
