Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Seven configurations of artificial olive tree, each stating height and canopy width together - from 2 m tall by 1.8 m wide up to 4 m tall by 5 m wide. The three smallest are built on a solid wood trunk; the four widest switch to fiberglass.

What is the trunk made of?

It depends which size you order. Solid wood on the 2 m, 2.5 m and 3 m x 3.5 m configurations; fiberglass on everything wider, where a moulded trunk carries a five-metre canopy more reliably than timber of the same weight.

How wide does it spread?

Between 1.8 m and 5 m, stated for every configuration. One option is described as unilateral floating: a 2.5 m tree with its 2 m canopy weighted to one side, which is the version to choose when the tree stands against a wall.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

Parks, gardens and courtyards are the stated use, and the largest sizes are landscape scale rather than interior. A 4 m x 5 m tree needs planned access, a prepared base and more than one person on installation day.

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.
