Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Handcrafted in silk fabric foliage, this artificial pine bonsai is offered in a wide spread of sizes - from a 1.6 ft (0.5 m) tabletop piece up to a 9.8 ft (3 m) landscape feature. The sculptural welcome-pine silhouette is what it is bought for, in hotel lobbies, retail sets, event stages and themed landscape builds.

What sizes are available?

Six options: 1.6 ft (0.5 m), and then A at 4.9 ft (1.5 m), B at 5.9 ft (1.8 m), C and E at 6.6 ft (2.0 m), and D at 9.8 ft (3 m). C and E share a height but differ in form, so check the images rather than assuming they are the same tree.

What is the foliage made of?

Silk fabric, and it is hand-assembled rather than moulded in one piece. That is why the needle pads have irregular edges instead of a repeating moulded outline, and it is the main reason this reads better than a plastic pine at close range.

How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?

Branches are compressed for transit and will need opening out. Budget real time for this one - a pine with layered pads takes half an hour of patient bending to get the horizontal planes right, and a tree left unshaped looks like a bottle brush.
