Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.
Returns & Warranty

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.
Sizing Help

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Twenty-four inches (0.6 m) of artificial pine bonsai on a natural wood trunk, sold as ten pot-and-stand combinations. Several pair the tree with a wrought iron stand and three include a bamboo lamp set. It is a desk, console or window ledge piece.

How tall is it, really?

Roughly 24 in (0.6 m) as supplied. Where a wrought iron stand forms part of the combination it lifts the whole piece higher again, so measure the shelf above before choosing one of those options.

Does it come with lights fitted?

Only on the bamboo lamp set combinations. Three of the ten options pair the bonsai with a bamboo lamp; the other seven are unlit and rely on the pot, the stand and the foliage colour to carry the piece.

Where does this work best?

A desk, a console, a wide window sill. Bodhi heart pots and wrought iron stands give the piece a deliberate Zen framing, which suits an office or a quiet corner of a lobby rather than a busy family living room.

How realistic does this actually look?

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.
What size should I order for my space?

Can I use this outdoors?

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.
Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. Dust settles on foliage the way it settles on a bookshelf, so a light dusting or gentle wipe every few months keeps it sharp. That is the entire care routine.
Why does it look flat when it arrives?

Foliage is compressed for transit, which is expected, not damage. Starting from the lowest branches and working up, bend each branch outward and fan the foliage until the canopy fills evenly. Large trees take ten to fifteen minutes and it is worth the time.
