Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

An artificial olive in bonsai form, moulded in water-resistant plastic and available at 7.55 ft, 7.87 ft and 11.48 ft (230 cm, 240 cm and 350 cm). Bonsai shaping means a shorter, thicker trunk with the canopy held in separated cloud layers rather than one mass.

How long will it last?

Indoors, effectively as long as you want it. The water-resistant plastic does not rot, wilt or drop, so the practical lifespan is governed by dust, handling and sunlight rather than by any process inside the tree itself.

Does it need any maintenance?

A wipe-down, which the water-resistant construction takes without dulling. The layered bonsai canopy collects more dust on its upper surfaces than an open tree does, so a soft brush over the top of each cloud once or twice a year is worth the few minutes.

Where does this work best?

The 230 cm and 240 cm sizes suit a hotel corridor or an office beside glazing; the 350 cm is a lobby tree. In every case give it clearance on at least two sides - the separated canopy layers are the feature, and they disappear when the tree is pushed into a corner.
