Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

This artificial maple tree is a full-size faux maple standing 240 cm (7.9 ft), built on a plastic frame with fabric-cut leaves. It is made for living room corners, restaurant floors, mall concourses and event sets where a real maple would never hold up indoors.

How tall is it, really?

240 cm, which is 7.9 ft, measured from the base of the trunk to the top of the canopy. That is tall enough to read as a tree in a room with a standard 8 to 9 ft ceiling, and it will sit close to the ceiling line in a low-ceilinged apartment.

Will it look real up close?

At normal room distance it reads as a maple; at arm's length you will see the cut edges of the fabric leaves. We would rather tell you that than promise a botanical match. Positioning it two to three metres from where people sit is what makes the illusion work.

Where does this work best?

Interior corners and covered outdoor areas such as verandas and roofed patios. It is a common choice for photo backdrops, home staging and seasonal retail displays because the same tree can be restyled with different lighting rather than replaced.
