Benefits & Features

Realistic detailing. Hand-set, multi-tone foliage on a natural or fibreglass-reinforced trunk, built to read as real from across a room.

Low maintenance. No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. A light dusting every few months is the entire care routine.

Materials. No soil, no pollen and no sap.

Built for commercial use. Sized and specified for lobbies, restaurants, offices and event spaces.

Shipping & Delivery

Made to order. Larger trees are built after your order is confirmed, so allow the lead time set out in our Shipping policy rather than next-day dispatch.

Freight for oversized pieces. Tall trees and multi-unit orders ship by freight and we will arrange a delivery window with you.

Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Returns & Warranty

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Sizing Help

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

For double-height lobbies and atriums, go taller than instinct suggests, because undersized trees disappear in large volumes. Unsure? Send us your dimensions before ordering and we will tell you honestly which size fits.

Product Description

A faux Ficus lyrata with a deliberately curved, S-shaped trunk in a black nursery pot, three heights from 4 ft to 6 ft. The tree separates into two sections for storage, and PVC leaves sit on individually adjustable metal-wired stems.

Most fiddle leaf figs in our range use a straight trunk. This one is deliberately curved into an S-shape — a sculptural, statement-piece silhouette for a room where the plant is meant to be looked at rather than blend in.

The construction detail is genuine: large, fiddle-shaped PVC leaves on branches with adjustable metal wiring, so individual stems bend and spread by hand. The tree separates into two sections for assembly and storage, useful for anyone who moves apartments or needs to store furniture seasonally. The pot is a black nursery planter with a cement-filled base for stability.

Artificial fiddle leaf fig, or a real one, with a sculptural trunk line?

Maintenance A damp cloth occasionally Watering, feeding, repotting, pest control, rotation

A genuinely sculptural S-curve on a live fiddle leaf fig is rare and usually the result of years of light-chasing growth rather than something you can select for at a nursery — if that exact silhouette matters to you, the artificial version is the more reliable way to get it.

What arrives in the box, and what do I have to do to it?

This tree ships in two sections rather than one continuous trunk, so the initial setup is joining those pieces rather than opening a fully attached canopy from scratch. Once joined, the branches still need hand-shaping — work the wired stems individually and give the leaves varied angles rather than a uniform fan.

Shipping damage is the most common complaint in this category. The two-section design means there's a joint to check as well as the usual pot and trunk; inspect it before you accept delivery, and photograph anything damaged before you unpack further.

Who should not buy this?

  • Direct outdoor sun. This tree is best suited to indoor use.
  • Anyone who wants a straight, conventional trunk. The S-curve is deliberate and permanent; it won't sit flush against a wall the way a straight trunk does.

Common questions

What is an S-shaped trunk?

A deliberately curved trunk designed for visual impact, as an alternative to the straight trunk most fiddle leaf figs in our range use. It's meant to read as sculptural and artistic — a statement piece rather than a straightforward stand-in for how a live tree usually grows.

Can I take this tree apart to move house?

Yes — the tree separates into two sections specifically for easier setup and more compact storage, which also makes it easier to transport during a move than a single continuous trunk would be.

How many leaves does the 6 ft version have?

42, compared with 36 at 5 ft.

Is the pot heavy enough on its own?

The pot is a black nursery planter with a heavy cement-filled base, designed to prevent tipping and to be safe around children and pets. A cement-filled base is standard, load-bearing construction for a floor tree at this height range — the same general approach several other fiddle leaf figs in our range use for stability.

Why Choose This Piece

What separates it from a generic artificial plant

Hand-set foliage

Leaves are layered by hand in varying tones, because real foliage is never one flat shade of green.

Real trunk construction

Natural wood or reinforced fibreglass trunks, depending on the tree.

Built for real conditions

UV-stabilised options are intended for sun, chlorine and salt air, conditions that are hard on living planting. UV treatment slows fading; it does not stop it.

Sized for commercial spaces

Sized and specified for hotel lobbies, restaurants, offices and event spaces.

Frequently Asked Questions

How realistic does this actually look?

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.

What size should I order for my space?

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm. For a standard room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well. For lobbies and atriums, go taller than instinct suggests, because undersized trees vanish in large volumes. Send us your dimensions and we will advise before you order.

Can I use this outdoors?

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.

Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. Dust settles on foliage the way it settles on a bookshelf, so a light dusting or gentle wipe every few months keeps it sharp. That is the entire care routine.

Why does it look flat when it arrives?

Foliage is compressed for transit, which is expected, not damage. Starting from the lowest branches and working up, bend each branch outward and fan the foliage until the canopy fills evenly. Large trees take ten to fifteen minutes and it is worth the time.

Do you offer trade or bulk pricing?
