Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

An artificial dracaena in UV-resistant plastic, at 6 ft (180 cm) or 8.5 ft (260 cm), in light green or dark green. Dracaena has a slim cane and a tight crown of strap leaves, so it delivers height in almost no floor area - the reason it ends up in balconies, corridors and lift lobbies.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

UV-resistant material is the point of this one, so it is specified for bright positions where an ordinary faux plant would go pale. That means bright, not permanently exposed; a fully open rooftop in full summer sun is still the hardest test any artificial foliage faces.

Which colour should I pick?

Light green reads fresher and lifts a dark interior; dark green is more architectural and holds its own against strong daylight or white walls. Both come in both heights, so it is a styling decision rather than a technical one.

How wide does it spread?

Narrow. The strap leaves flare from a single cane rather than branching, so even the 260 cm version keeps a compact footprint - which is why it fits a balcony corner or a corridor where a spreading tree would obstruct.
