Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.
Returns & Warranty

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.
Sizing Help

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Seven sizes of artificial banyan, running from 5.6 ft (170 cm) to 8.8 ft (280 cm) in close steps. That granularity is the point: you can match an existing ceiling or a matched pair of trees precisely instead of rounding to the nearest metre.

How tall is it, really?

Choose from 170, 190, 210, 225, 245, 265 or 280 cm. Because the increments are small, a matched pair either side of an entrance can be specified at exactly the same height.

Will it look real up close?

The foliage carries a green-to-yellow variation rather than one flat green, and that tonal shift is what sells a banyan at close range. The trunk is a moulded lifelike finish, convincing at a pace or two and clearly moulded if you put your hand on it.

Can this go outside?

Yes, indoors or outdoors. Banyan canopies are dense and broad, so an exposed outdoor position benefits from a weighted base.

Where does this work best?

Homes, offices and upscale venues, and particularly anywhere a broad-canopied tree can fill a corner at seated eye level. It is a mid-size specimen, not an atrium tree.

How realistic does this actually look?

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.
What size should I order for my space?

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm. For a standard room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well. For lobbies and atriums, go taller than instinct suggests, because undersized trees vanish in large volumes. Send us your dimensions and we will advise before you order.
Can I use this outdoors?

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.
Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. Dust settles on foliage the way it settles on a bookshelf, so a light dusting or gentle wipe every few months keeps it sharp. That is the entire care routine.
Why does it look flat when it arrives?

Foliage is compressed for transit, which is expected, not damage. Starting from the lowest branches and working up, bend each branch outward and fan the foliage until the canopy fills evenly. Large trees take ten to fifteen minutes and it is worth the time.
