Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Permanent autumn is the idea: this artificial maple carries red maple foliage on a natural wood trunk, in 10 ft (3 m) and 13 ft (4 m) heights with custom sizes available. Japanese-styled interiors, hotel lobbies, restaurant voids and large living rooms are where the colour does the most work.

What is the trunk made of?

Natural wood, not moulded fiberglass. That is the reason this tree costs what it does - real bark grain and real irregularity, which no moulding reproduces exactly because a mould repeats and a tree does not.

How tall is it, really?

Ten feet (3 m) or thirteen feet (4 m) as listed, and the height is customisable beyond that. The 3 m build fits a generous domestic double-height or a standard commercial ceiling; the 4 m version needs a proper void.

Can this go outside?

The foliage is water resistant and the tree is specified for indoor and outdoor settings. A covered terrace or courtyard is the sensible reading of that. Red foliage in permanent direct sun will hold its colour longer under some shade.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes. Height is a build option on this model, which is worth using if the canopy has to clear a specific beam or sit below a mezzanine soffit.
