Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

An artificial areca palm supplied with its pot, in five heights from 7.2 ft to 11.8 ft (2.2 m to 3.6 m). Areca is the multi-stemmed feathery palm rather than the single-trunk kind, so it fills width as well as height - useful beside a pool, in a lobby or along a restaurant window.

What kind of pot does it come in?

A sturdy pot is included, fitted and ready to stand, so the palm arrives as a finished piece rather than a tree needing a container sourced separately. It is stable enough to place directly and neutral enough to sleeve inside a decorative planter if you prefer.

How tall is it, really?

Five options: 7.2 ft, 8.2 ft, 9.2 ft, 10.5 ft and 11.8 ft (2.2 m to 3.6 m). Palm heights include the fronds, which arch, so the tree occupies more visual space than the number suggests - allow width as well as headroom.

Can this go outside?

Yes - patios, poolside areas, garden displays and entryways are all stated uses. Poolside is the common one, and the reason is straightforward: no soil, no dropped fronds and nothing that needs skimming out of the water.
