Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

This 8 ft artificial mangrove tree is a faux mangrove with the exposed, arching prop roots that define the species, moulded in plastic on a supplied stand. At 2.5 m it is specified for museums, aquarium exhibits, themed venues and any interior building a coastal or wetland scene.

How tall is it, really?

8 ft, or 2.5 m, in a single size. The visual mass sits low because of the root structure, so it occupies more floor area than a straight-trunked tree of the same height and needs to be positioned with that spread in mind.

What kind of pot does it come in?

It ships with a stand and potted base, so it can be placed without building a plinth. In exhibit work this base is often concealed with gravel, sand or moss dressing to blend the tree into the scene.
