Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Osmanthus, the sweet olive, is grown for its dense evergreen leaf rather than its shape, and this 12 ft (3.5 m) artificial version uses anti-UV silk leaves to hold that dark green outdoors. Custom sizes are available on request.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

The leaves are anti-UV treated silk, specified precisely because this tree is meant to stand in full garden sun. Green is also the most stable colour to hold, so it will outlast a pink or red equivalent in the same position.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes, this one is offered as a customisable size. The stocked height is 12 ft (3.5 m) and anything else is quoted - worth doing if it has to match an existing hedge line or a run of real planting.

Where does this work best?

Patios, landscape schemes and commercial garden planting. Osmanthus reads as background structure rather than a specimen, so it works massed or repeated along a boundary, where a single dramatic tree would look out of place.
