Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

An artificial nandina, or heavenly bamboo, built on a fiberglass trunk with water-resistant foliage and supplied at 9 ft (2.75 m). Nandina has a fine upright cane structure rather than a heavy canopy, so it fills height in a narrow footprint - patios, entryways, lobby returns and retail displays.

How wide does it spread?

Far less than its height suggests. Nandina grows in slim vertical canes with the leaf held in tiers, so a 9 ft tree occupies a footprint closer to a large planter than a specimen tree - useful where a corridor or a glazed entrance cannot lose floor width.

Can this go outside?

Yes, and the water-resistant build is why. Covered outdoor areas, garden landscape schemes and sheltered entryways are all stated uses; overhead cover still buys you years of appearance, so take it where you can get it.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Yes. Height and overall dimensions are made to order, which is how most of these are bought - a designer sends a ceiling dimension and gets trees cut to match across a run of positions rather than three near-misses off a stock list.
