Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Seven heights of coconut palm built for landscaping, between 8 ft (2.5 m) and 18 ft (5.5 m). Unlike an indoor decorative palm, this one is specified for exterior duty first - gardens, poolside decks, resort grounds and commercial outdoor schemes.

Can this go outside?

Outside is the entire brief. The materials are specified as weather-resistant and every named application is an exterior one, so it is built around sun and rain rather than merely tolerating them.

How tall is it, really?

Between 2.5 m and 5.5 m across seven steps. For poolside planting the 3.5 m and 4 m sizes tend to be the useful ones: tall enough to break the skyline from a lounger, short enough not to dominate a small deck.

Does it need any maintenance?

Rinse the fronds when they get dusty and check the base fixing after high wind. There is no trimming, no feeding and no frond drop - which is the practical reason resorts specify artificial palms around water.
