Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.
Returns & Warranty

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.
Sizing Help

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

With a 50 mm (1.97 in) grass length and a panel size of 3.3 x 6.6 ft (1.00 x 2.00 m), this extendable trellis hedge is the deep-pile option in the screening range. The longer blade is what gives it a soft, slightly shaggy hedge look instead of the clipped finish of a shallow panel.

What does the 50 mm pile change?

Depth and shadow. A 50 mm blade lies over its neighbours and hides the backing completely, so a run reads as a hedge from any angle rather than only head-on. It is also more forgiving of a slightly uneven fence behind it.

How much does one panel cover?

Two square metres - a 1 m x 2 m drop. That is a full standard fence-panel height in one piece, so a 6 m garden boundary takes three of them with no horizontal joins.

Can this go outside?

Yes, it is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. Outdoors, fix it along the top rail and at intervals down the sides rather than at the corners only. Deep-pile panels catch more wind than shallow ones, which is the trade-off for the better look.

How realistic does this actually look?

From arm's length it is difficult to distinguish from a living tree. The trunk construction and multi-tone hand-set foliage do most of that work. Up close, under direct inspection, you will be able to tell. We would rather say that plainly than overpromise.
What size should I order for my space?

Can I use this outdoors?

Only if it is from our UV-resistant range. Check the product title and tags. Indoor-rated pieces can go under permanent cover, but will fade faster in direct sun. UV stabilisation slows fading substantially; it does not defy physics.
Does it need any maintenance?

No watering, feeding, pruning or repotting. Dust settles on foliage the way it settles on a bookshelf, so a light dusting or gentle wipe every few months keeps it sharp. That is the entire care routine.
Why does it look flat when it arrives?

Foliage is compressed for transit, which is expected, not damage. Starting from the lowest branches and working up, bend each branch outward and fan the foliage until the canopy fills evenly. Large trees take ten to fifteen minutes and it is worth the time.
