Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Sixteen feet, or 5 m, on a trunk made to order rather than pulled from a stock mould - that is what separates this faux olive from the standard sizes. It is aimed squarely at outdoor landscaping in gardens, patios and hotel grounds.

What is the trunk made of?

A customised natural-look trunk, built for the individual tree rather than taken from a standard mould. On a 5 m specimen that matters - repeated trunks become obvious the moment two of them stand within sight of each other.

Can this go outside?

Yes, and outdoor landscaping is the stated purpose. Weather-resistant materials are specified throughout, and gardens, patios and commercial grounds are named settings rather than afterthoughts.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

Hotels and commercial spaces are listed uses. At 5 m it should be treated as an installed element with a prepared base and a delivery plan, not as furniture that arrives and gets carried in by hand.
