Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

These artificial palm trees are faux palms with a swept curved trunk, moulded in glass fibre reinforced plastic and offered from 3 m up to 6 m. The curve is the point: it gives the leaning, wind-shaped profile you see on a beachfront rather than the upright column of a formal palm.

How tall is it, really?

Seven heights from 10 ft (3 m) to 20 ft (6 m). Because the trunk curves, the tree's actual reach sideways is significant at the taller sizes - a 6 m palm can lean well over a metre off its own base line, so plan the clearance, not just the height.

What is the trunk made of?

Glass fibre reinforced plastic, usually shortened to GRP or fibreglass. It is the standard material for large artificial trunks because it holds a moulded bark texture and carries a heavy canopy without the weight of a steel column.

Where does this work best?

Hotel lobbies, pool decks, retail atria and event builds. Buyers frequently order two or three heights together and stagger them, because a group of unequal palms reads as a planting while a matched pair reads as decoration.
