Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

An artificial palm in three heights, 5.9 ft (170 cm), 6.6 ft (200 cm) and 7.6 ft (230 cm), with UV-resistant fronds on a natural-look trunk. At these sizes it furnishes a room rather than dominating it, which suits guest suites and restaurant corners.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

The fronds are UV-resistant, so they hold their green far longer than untreated plastic. In a south-facing conservatory expect some softening over several years; in normal interior light the colour is stable.

How tall is it, really?

Three sizes: 170, 200 and 230 cm. The 230 cm version clears standing eye level with the fronds spread, and all three fit under a standard 8 ft ceiling.

Can this go outside?

Yes. It is rated for indoor and outdoor placement, and the UV treatment is what makes the outdoor option honest rather than nominal.

Does it need any maintenance?

No watering and no light requirement. Palm fronds are ribbed and hold dust in the channels, so an occasional rinse outdoors or a soft brush indoors keeps them looking sharp.
