Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Eight and a half feet - 2.6 m, or 260 cm - of artificial olive on an authentic wood trunk, supplied potted, in one size only. It is the height that fills the awkward volume between a standard ceiling and a proper double-height void.

How tall is it, really?

260 cm to the top of the foliage. That is above a standard 2.4 m ceiling, so measure before ordering: this tree wants a room of about 3 m or more, or a stairwell where the canopy has somewhere to go.

What kind of pot does it come in?

It arrives potted and ready to stand. Most buyers still drop it into a decorative planter, because at 2.6 m the base is what people see at close range and a supplied pot rarely matches a finished interior.

Will it look real up close?

The trunk will. It is genuine wood, so the bark texture and colour variation are real, and that is what the eye checks first. The leaves are the weaker half - olive foliage is small and silvery, and moulded versions read a little too uniform at arm's length.
