Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

A 12 ft (3.6 m) artificial olive tree with a PE trunk and soft fabric foliage in a natural green tone. At three and a half metres it is a whole-room object, specified for hotel lobbies, upscale restaurants, event venues and homes with the ceiling height to carry it.

How tall is it, really?

12 ft (3.6 m) overall, in a single size. That needs roughly 13 ft of clear ceiling once you allow for the base, so it belongs in a double-height space or a room with an exposed structural ceiling, not a standard storey.

Will it look real up close?

Fabric leaves are the reason it reads well at distance - cloth catches light softly where moulded plastic goes shiny and flat. Under close inspection the uniformity of the leaves gives it away. At normal viewing distance across a lobby, it does not.

What is the trunk made of?

PE, moulded and finished to an olive bark texture, rather than natural timber. That keeps the weight down at this height, which matters if the tree has to be lifted onto a plinth or moved between event setups.
