Product Description
An artificial mangrove tree is a faux tropical specimen defined by its exposed, arching root structure, and this one stands 8 ft with layered leaves in plastic and fabric. It is an indoor statement piece for lobbies, malls, offices, indoor parks, restaurants and covered patios.
Will it look real up close?
The roots are the reason to choose a mangrove over a generic tree. A living mangrove stands on a tangle of stilt roots, and that irregular, deliberately unsymmetrical structure is far harder for the eye to dismiss as artificial than a straight trunk is. The leaves are ordinary artificial foliage - convincing at a few paces, less so in your hand.
How tall is it, really?
8 ft, about 2.4 m, in a single size. Because the root structure occupies the bottom third, the canopy sits higher than it would on a conventional tree of the same height, which is genuinely useful when you need greenery above head height in a walk-through space.
Where does this work best?
Somewhere people walk around it rather than past it. The root structure is a three-dimensional object and it deserves to be seen from more than one side - an atrium island, a floor plate, the middle of an indoor park - rather than pushed flat against a wall where half of it is wasted.
