Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

A yellow-leaved artificial ginkgo on a textured fiberglass trunk, offered in six heights from 10 ft (3 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m). The autumn colour makes this a seasonal statement rather than a neutral green tree, so it usually lands in reception halls, courtyards and restaurant terraces.

Can this go outside?

Yes. The foliage is UV-stabilised and the fiberglass trunk is built for exterior placement, so it works on a terrace or in a courtyard as well as indoors. Anchor or weight the base in any spot exposed to wind.

Will the colour fade in sunlight?

The leaves are UV-resistant, which slows fading rather than stopping it. Outdoors in full sun the yellow will soften over years; indoors or in partial shade it holds far longer.

How long will it last?

Life expectancy is rated at 3 to 5 years. That is a realistic outdoor figure and on the conservative side for a sheltered interior placement.

How tall is it, really?

Six sizes are listed: 10, 11.5, 13, 15, 16.5 and 18 ft, or 3 to 5.5 m. Measure your ceiling before choosing the top two, because the canopy sits close to full height.
