Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Twelve feet (3.5 m) of artificial ficus on a fiberglass trunk, carrying dense green foliage in the banyan style. It is listed for indoor and outdoor use, and custom sizes and designs can be quoted alongside the stocked height.

How tall is it, really?

12 ft, about 3.5 m. That is a mezzanine-height tree - too tall for a standard room, well suited to an office atrium, a hotel lobby or an event build where the ceiling is part of the design.

What is the trunk made of?

Fiberglass, moulded to ficus bark. Ficus trunks are the interesting part of the species, buttressed and sometimes multi-stemmed, so a moulded trunk is doing more work here than it would on a plain-stemmed tree.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

Offices, hotels and event venues are the named uses, and custom designs are offered. If a scheme calls for a particular canopy shape or stem arrangement, that becomes a conversation rather than a compromise.
