Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Specify this artificial date palm when the trunk colour has to match a scheme rather than the other way round - it is offered in white or a custom finish over a high-simulation fiberglass core. Heights run 8 ft (2.5 m) to 18 ft (5.5 m), for lobbies, patios, weddings and events.

Can I get it in a custom colour?

Yes, and that is the distinguishing feature of this model. The standard finish is white, and other colours are produced to order. A white palm is a very different object from a natural brown one - it stops reading as landscaping and starts reading as a set piece, which is why event and wedding buyers choose it.

Where does this work best?

Wedding floors, event builds, hotel lobbies and restaurant patios. In a neutral interior a white palm holds a corner without adding another green mass to the room, which is useful in a space that already has planting.

Can this go outside?

Interior and exterior settings are both named. A patio is within scope. Bear in mind that a white or pale finish shows dust and rain-splash more readily than a natural trunk, so an exposed position will need wiping down more often.
