Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Narrow, upright and 11.5 ft (3.5 m) tall with a crown just 80 cm (2.6 ft) wide, this artificial cypress is the tree for a space that has height but no floor area. Entrance flanks, courtyard corners, the gaps between glazing bays, and anywhere a pair reads better than a single specimen.

How wide does it spread?

Eighty centimetres, or 2.6 ft, at the crown. That is unusually tight for a 3.5 m tree and it is the entire point of a cypress - vertical presence with almost no footprint. A pair either side of a doorway will not narrow the doorway.

Can this go outside?

Yes. This model is specified as water-proof and snow-proof for outdoor use, which is a broader weather rating than most trees in this range carry. Gardens, entrance courts and dining terraces are all within scope.

Can I get it in a custom height?

Height is made to order on this model. The listed build is 11.5 ft (3.5 m), and because a cypress is defined by its proportion rather than its canopy, taller and shorter versions keep the same silhouette.

Does it need any maintenance?

None. No watering, no clipping and no browning at the base, which is the failure mode of real cypress hedging in a hard winter. Rinse road dust off an outdoor one occasionally and that is the full routine.
