Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Product Description

Four heights of artificial coconut palm, from 5.9 ft (180 cm) up to 9.8 ft (280 cm), each on a natural wood trunk. The wood core is the differentiator here: real bark texture at the base, where guests actually touch a palm, with moulded fronds above.

What is the trunk made of?

Natural wood, shaped to the ringed profile of a coconut palm. It is heavier than fiberglass and it looks it, in the good sense, since the grain and colour variation are genuine rather than printed.

How tall is it, really?

Four sizes: 5.9 ft (180 cm), 7.2 ft (220 cm), 8.2 ft (250 cm) and 9.8 ft (280 cm). The 280 cm version needs a ceiling above 10 ft once the fronds are opened out.

How does it arrive, and how much shaping does it need?

Fronds pack folded against the trunk and need opening out and angling downward once it is standing. Twenty minutes of work turns a flat-looking delivery into a convincing palm; skipping that step is the most common reason a faux palm looks wrong.

Can this go outside?

Yes, indoors or outdoors. Poolside, terrace and lobby placements all suit it, though a wood trunk left in permanent rain will weather faster than a fiberglass one.
