Unboxing. Foliage is compressed in transit and will look flat on arrival. Bend the branches outward from the bottom up and fan the foliage, ten to fifteen minutes per large tree. This is normal, not damage.

Return unused items in their original packaging within the period set out in our Returns policy. Because foliage is shaped by hand after unboxing, a fanned-out tree can still be returned, just repack it carefully.

Products are covered against manufacturing defects in construction, trunk mounting and foliage attachment. See our Returns policy for the period. Gradual fading from prolonged direct sun is not covered, including on UV-stabilised items. UV treatment slows fading, it does not stop it.

Measure your ceiling height and subtract at least 30cm so the canopy is not compressed against the ceiling. For a room corner, 1.8m to 2.4m usually reads well.

Six canopy models across four heights: this artificial banyan tree runs from 6.7 ft (2 m) up to 15 ft (4.6 m), and the profile can be shaped to a brief rather than taken as moulded. Specifiers use it for mall atriums, restaurant centrepieces, showroom floors and large residential voids.

Which model and height should I choose?

Match the height to the ceiling first, then pick the model for spread. Model 5 is the compact one at 6.7 ft (2 m); Models 1, 3 and 6 sit at 10 ft (3 m); Model 2 is 11.5 ft (3.5 m); Model 4 is the full 15 ft (4.6 m) specimen. All six differ in branch arrangement and canopy density.

Can the shape be customised?

Yes - the canopy profile is a build option, not a fixed moulding. That is the reason this model exists separately from the stock banyan trees, and it is worth using if the tree has to sit against a specific soffit line or window reveal.

Is it suitable for a commercial fit-out?

It is built for it. The foliage and trunk are specified for high-traffic interiors, and the size range covers everything from a restaurant corner to a full atrium feature. The store holds no fire test certificates for this item, so if your fit-out requires a rated flame spread classification, ask before you specify it.
